Pineapple and cheese: It's a great FILLIN'

It may sound a weird combo at first but when you think more about these two, it may not seem weird at all. Most obvious of which is on top of a "Hawaiian" pizza. There's cheese and pineapple but there are also more toppings that makes you forget these two. The first time I tasted this as sandwich filling, I really liked it and in no time at all became one of my favorite sandwich filling. This is actually my second post on this topic. I just had to make use of old photos for my original post but finally have new photos to show and filling to eat with. Grated EDEN cheese . I've tried other cheeses but they dont come out right for my taste so it's always this brand. Crushed pineapple tidbits . The grocery ran out of crushed pineapple so I made my own. Of course, no need to separate them when making your own pineapple-cheese. Just mix them altogether and enjoy!

Pineapple-cheese: From filling to ice cream

It was during a general meeting in the office that sandwiches with pineapple-cheese filling were served and turned to be a great hit! It was just a spur of the moment suggestion because everybody was tired of the usual fillings and wanted something new. My favorite combo is Eden cheese and canned Dole crushed pineapples. Though at times I try Del Monte and some other cheese brands but its always the former that makes this recipe good. It is as simple as mixing grated cheese and crushed pineapples, just add some of the juices to make it more spreadable. One time I decided to take this recipe a little further by adding condensed milk and cream. Freezing it overnight ..... pineapple cheese ice cream was born!
