Dried fish and other seafood are termed as "uga" or "pinakas". Central market's dried fish section is along Guanco street near Gaisano. With stalls offering a variety of products from the usual "tabagak" or tuyo, "balingon" or dilis, pusit, danggit to lison (a fleshy fish), mounds of "guinamos" or visayan bagoong to fish (and fishbones) tocino and tapa. The northern town of Estancia known as "Alaska of the Philippines" is the main supplier for this section of the market though there are dried fish stalls in the malls, groceries and in some pasalubong shops like Biscocho Haus and Deco's Pasalubong center.
