Now in Iloilo: Angel's Pizza offers a taste of heaven in every slice!

With the dough properly aged and fermented plus hand-tossed and prepared just as the customer orders, you'd never get pizza as fresh anywhere but at ANGEL'S PIZZA! Opening lucky 13th branch (first outside Luzon) in Iloilo City, Ilonggos can now savor Angel's Pizza's trademark fresh, high quality hand-tossed pizzas - at an affordable price! Together with the Iloilo Bloggers Inc., it was one pizzariffic afternoon as we welcomed Angel's Pizza to the City Love. So how would be welcome party look like? With lots and lots of pizza and other specialties plus fun bonding moments with real friends!  Using only fresh (never frozen) dough and quality ingredients, it was a galore of pizza in front of us including the best sellers - Creamy Spinach, Overload, Creamy Garlic and 5 Cheese, All Meat, and Chicken Aloha.  The certified best seller among the best sellers is the CREAMY SPINACH DIP pizza. It's classic dip sauce

Malicious cookies from Marco Polo Plaza Hotel in Cebu

Cookies so rich, so luscious and so full of indulgence that patrons at Marco Polo Plaza Hotel in Cebu christened it - Malicious Cookies . These chocolate chip cookies are among the best sellers and the only "malice" it can bring is to the waistline (you can exercise though or just eat in moderation).  BUT WHO CARES! You'll really have to give in to temptation for each bite comes a burst of delicious flavour of these rich and savoury bites that you'll surely ask for more. They were freshly baked when we had them at Cafe Marco at Marco Polo Plaza Hotel thus making it more delicious for every bite and every piece that we lost count how many we had then. So the next time I find myself in Cebu, I'd certainly drop by Marco Polo Plaza to experience more "malice" in the form of these delectable malicious cookies . Menu Degustacion de Casa Iberica para La Gastronomia Española

Now that's a mouthful of Spanish and I have no idea if it's the correct phrasing and choice of words. But all I am sure of, is that the food we had during the food tasting session at Casa Iberica were all good, really good! Of course, how can you go wrong when there's an actual Spaniard - Chef Javier Contreras-Cuellar at the helm of it all in the kitchen with equally able staff. And using premium products from Best Spanish Food Olmeda Origenes ranging from olives and pimiento to sardines and anchovies, it was a top of the line food tasting experience. Plus the wide variety of white and red wines from Werdenberg International Corp., to go with the hams, cheese and pintxos, it was evening that can be aptly described as "muy delicioso" But before we start the Spanish gastronomy appreciation, let's first define "degustation".  Dégustation as defined in Wikipedia is the careful, appreciative tasting of

Misto Platters: A delicious gastronomic celebration at SEDA Atria

Introducing the MISTO PLATTERS - a combination of prime meats, freshest seafood and choiced vegetables perfect for sharing with the whole family!  SEDA Atria is celebrating its 4th Year Anniversary with this gastronomic offering that would certainly satisfy the discriminating taste of the Ilonggos. Together with the Iloilo Bloggers Inc., I had the chance to savor all these platters in just one sitting! Burp! Carnivores would surely loved the MISTO MEAT PLATTER. The humongous serving consists of Baked Pork Ribs, Fried Chicken with Southern-Style Sauce, Lechon Kawali with Pork Liver Sauce, Beef Kebab and Grilled Vegetables. I personally loved the Lechon Kawali in all its cholesterolifficness because even without dipping it, its already delicious on its own.  But everything on the platter was delectable with the special mention of the beef kebab and ribs! Connoisseurs of the bounty of the sea will really dig in the MISTO SEAFOOD PLATTER
