Had a huge dose of bananas today! Not that I complain, it's just something that don't usually happen regularly. I bought isa ka sipi ( almost 2 kilos) of lacatan bananas for around PhP60 for it was too inviting to ignore. I dont know if it was a good buy or not for that price, all I know it's now halfway gone. To my surprise, I arrived home seeing another variety of bananas, the senorita. Though still not ripe enough to be eaten (still ma-aplod ), I assured myself of another sipi of banana since I dig in fruits for snacks especially during my online mode. Capping today's dosage was another variety of banana, the saba , but not the fruit itself but what it has become after being mashed and baked, a banana cake! I just love the smell especially after it has just gone out of the oven but love eating it after it has cooled down. Hopefully, there will still be a few slices left for tomorrow.
