A "lechon kawali" often finds itself being the centerpiece in any of our luncheon for special occasion or just weekend lunch. Sometimes even during an everybody-lazy-to-cook day. Of course, its presentation depends on the event.
Actually it's very easy to prepare. Its just pork belly seasoned with salt and pepper softened by boiling, a day before, then turbo broiled until golden brown. Each family member gets his/her own favorite sauce. Mine would be banana catsup with calamansi and chili peppers.
Thanks to our aging turbo broiler we can have a turbo broiled "lechon-kawali" anytime
