Awesome two-some: New cakes from Tinapayan

Get hold of these two delectable cakes from Tinapayan as the bakeshop adds them in their list of mouth watering cake collection.
Caramel lovers would surely love this sugar based creation – simply Caramel Cake. Though the design reminds of some other cake (lol), at least this one has class and simple but fine craftsmanship. And to cater to the demand of most cake buyers, a space was specially provided to greet the occasion this cake is going to be part of.


The soft cake is smothered with generous amount of caramel in between and iced with another caramel based icing. The taste of the caramel was moderated so it won’t be overwhelming and the cake itself good – soft, spongy and appetizing.


The Mango Supreme cake really looks supreme in all aspects and angles too. Inspired by the Asian phenomenon in cake design, the simple ornamentation and superb handiwork makes the cake an eye catcher and truly deserves a second look.

Not only it is pleasing to the eyes but also tasted really good. Layers of soft vanilla-butter cake filled with creamy custard and luscious mangoes make a superb combination. The custard was almost perfect, not too sweet or overpowering just the right blend to bring out and complement the sweet and succulent mangoes.


Don’t just ogle at these cakes - have them for your guilty pleasure. Available on display at Tinapayan alongside Iloilo Supermart at The Atrium, Delgado, Jaro, Mandurriao and now open Villa-Arevalo.

Ultimate Ilonggo Favorite: KBL Kadyos, Baboy, Langka

K.B.L. or Kadyos, Baboy, Langka is the ultimate favorite dish of most Ilonggos. Lauya nga Pata sang Baboy

It was a typical fiesta scene in a barrio that I got to taste this cholesteroliffic and delicious pork dish.
