Payday Dinner Buffet at Kusina Tsina

If dimsum and Chinese dishes tickle your gastronomic fantasies, then give in to your taste temptation twice a month with Kusina Tsina's Payday Buffet. Happening every Friday, nearest payday (that 's the Friday nearest 15th and 30th), the newly renovated Chinese restaurant along Quezon street whips up the most satisfying all-you-can-eat menu in the city - for only PhP288/pax.
Together with some blogger friends, we invaded the "Chinese Kitchen" during their most recent Payday Buffet - August 29. And the queue when we arrived was a "blockbuster", even though it was a rainy Friday evening. That didn't give us much time to take photos of what they were offering that time knowing that there were lots of hungry customers lining behind us. So here's my plate having all those delicious dishes and I went all out for the pork asado  - whch I still dream about.
Ofcourse, the dimsum are certainly not to be missed and I found myself in the right place at the right time when these newly cooked Pork Siomai were placed on the table. With steam coming out when it was served, it was a race for me to take photos given that anytime, there would be a mad rush for them.
 And the Beef Siomai - sinfully delicious!
With this sio mai and other dimsum galore in my plate, I slowly ate my way to the end and bid goodbye to a very satisfying dinner. And with another payday coming up in a two weeks time or so, it'll surely be another smorgasbord of Chinese specialties at Kusina Tsina!

An American Adventure Buffet at Days Hotel Iloilo

I just came from a meeting for an upcoming event dubbed as "America in 3D" and when I arrived at The Promenade at Days Hotel Iloilo, it was like "America in 3D" all over again. Ultimate Ilonggo Favorite: KBL Kadyos, Baboy, Langka

K.B.L. or Kadyos, Baboy, Langka is the ultimate favorite dish of most Ilonggos.
