The heavy rains that afternoon did hamper the scheduled opening of Coffeebreak's latest branch and as I was informed the first full franchise branch in Iloilo City. Father Bernabe Tutana led the short opening service while Mss. Fe Robles and Margareth Florete led the ribbon cutting ceremony afterwards.
As invited guests started to pour in, they were welcomed with the usual modern and hip ambiance of Coffeebreak is popular for. With food display affront the usual brown and black motif, it was a very familiar sight with a much more familiar aroma in the air.
Of course there's the signature canopy couch that often makes guests rush in to get but with Plazuela de Iloilo branch offering a good view and ambiance inside out- there's no need to rush in.
A special occasion deserves special food and it never failed. A mix of Coffeebreak's specialty rolls (ham and cheese rolls and more ), a big version of Better Than Sex cake) and lasagna plus special eats brought in for the event like crema de fruta and mini sio pao, among others
Three towers of iced tea and strawberry juice quenched the thirst of the guests as the eats filled each and everyone. The strawberry juice was very sweet (too much concetrated) and wasn't that cold that time though.
But it was a an eventful celebration as whole as the homegrown coffee shop chain adds this new branch to its list of growing family. Experience a good cup of coffee, appetizing eats and refreshing ambiance - only at Coffeebreak - Plazuela de Iloilo. More photos on Facebook
