There are times that craving for the real thing make us make the most of what's available and/or what we have. Just like this adobo nga tabagak (tuyo)which is to satisfy my cravings for binodo. While the latter is salt-bathed fish that are sold in markets, the adobo nga tabagak almost mimics the aroma and taste. And it's almost available all the time.
Making one is as easy as 1-2-3. First, fry the tabagak while preparing onions and garlic. Remove the fish then, unhealthy as it may seem, saute the garlic and onions in the oil used to fry the fish. Add vinegar and some soy sauce and adjust flavour to suit your taste. Finally add the tuyo and simmer for a minute.
Now you have a very appetizing and easy to prepare dish that would surely make your tastebuds yearn for more. Extra rice please!
