My 4-year old nephew had fun making balls out of watermelons ( red and yellow) and melon. I added calamansi juice, cooled them, served using the watermelon "shell" and "garnished" with homemade mango ice cream.
Having a constant supply of ice that can be shaved prompted us to stock our fridge with halo-halo ingredients so that anytime we feel like it, we just literally mix whatever we find satisfying for this hot summer season.
The abundance of fresh ripe mangoes at home had us making around 6 different mango desserts since Saturday (thats one per day). And thankfully, this was the last one. The classic, the simple mango float.
