Now I can finally sleep soundly, walk leisurely, breathe with ease and go back to my normal way of life. The event we planned and worked hard with finally ended last weekend. Though they were lots room for improvement, I would consider it a success on its own for basically we mounted the 1st Visayas Blogging Summit and the Philippine Blog Awards Visayas 2010 with almost ZERO funds at all.
If not for the generosity of our sponsors, these events would not have been possible even on the planning stage. So in my own little way, I express my heartfelt thanks to our sponsors who trusted and supported the Iloilo Bloggers Inc. and Flavours of Iloilo - with some not having any idea about blogging, in making our events successful.
To SM City Iloilo for co presenting the Visayas Blogging Summit by giving us free usage of Cinema 2 for almost a day even though Harry Potter could have taken us over. Thanks to Ms. Kristin, Jeffrey, Bryan, Lee and all others who endured our numerous requests for meetings, needs and everything. Again thank you and we look forward to another event with you.
To Days Hotel Iloilo for being our partner hotel by giving delegates a 60% off on the regular room rates. Thank you to through its General Manager, Scott plus the rest of the staff, who helped us in every possible way to make things go our way before, during and after the summit.
To Tibiao Fish Spa especially to Rex and Flord, who without any second thoughts gladly, accommodated us in all aspects plus giving a very generous sponsorship. Thank you giving the delegates a chance to experience a fishpalaxing treat in the most affordable fish spa in the world.
To Ted’s Oldtimer Lapaz batchoy most especially to Ms Dolor and Alexis who even just through Facebook and email correspondences gladly welcomed the thought of being part of the summit. Thanks for sharing with the delegates the taste of the best Lapaz batchoy.
To Bluejay Coffee and Deli especially to Ms. Arlene, Jong and Carol for the quality and delicious coffee that perked all us up during the summit. Thank you for being the first to signify interest in sponsoring our event in as early as April of this year and for all the support you’ve given to the bloggers.
To Bourbon Street Grill and Bar especially to John and Scott for the very wonderful lunch you gave our guests and speakers – to which most said it was the best ever they had in almost all the summits they attended.
To Globe Telecom Panay esp. to Sir Mike and Sir Dan who shared Globe’s latest wireless internet technology – Wi-Max , to the delegates, who experienced fast and reliable connection internet connection during the summit. Also to the two Globe Tattoo sticks that were given as raffle prizes – thank you!
To The Daily Guardian especially to Tara who helped us especially with our presscon and Francis who gave us additional print mileage for almost a week in Western Visayas’ Most Read and respected newspaper.
To Nokia for giving us the much need financial support that without it, we couldn’t have moved an inch and did our job. Thank you for connecting with us!
To Sunsilk through Media Contacts c/o Ms Carla for more financial support to both our events and for the free bottles (not sachets) of Sunsilk and Creamsilk as freebies to all delegates. Now that my hair, that has dried up more during the last few months, can be rejuvenated again – lol.
To Geiser Maclang led by Anika and Charl for the bags and tshirts freebies on top of the financial support, thank you very much. We look forward in working with GMCI in our next events and projects

Also much thanks to Concilor Lex Tupas for giving us support and advice in our endeavours and Cong. Jerry Trenas for the endorsement. Also to Sir Bombette of the Provincial Tourism office and Sir Carlos of the Provincial Library Archives Division for the tarps and bamboo stands.
To Crave Burger especially to Sir Sen Javellana for the supporting the event though Crave’s delicious and yummy burgers and Ronalyn who facilitated all our needs.

To the people of the Philippine Blog Awards Manila led by its President Juned Sonido for trusting Iloilo Bloggers Inc to host the Visayas leg of the PBA and for the financial support that helped us along the way.
And lastly to the biggest supporter of blogging in Iloilo City, to the Que family led by Sir Johnny and Ma’am Evelyn, a million words can’t express our gratitude for all your help to our organization even before these two events. A big thank you also going to Arvi, Marketing Specialist of Great Foods Inc. for facilitating everything in behalf of the Que family and to Tina and Scott too.
