Tucked in one of the many sidestreets surrounding Jaro plaza is a restaurant that for years have given Ilonggos a taste of Germany. Aptly named as Bavaria, this restaurant and bar, not only serves authentic German cuisine and delicacies but also makes one feel like being in a German foodshop. With authentic German decors, utensils, etc, the visit itself to the restaurant itself is already worth it. Owned by a German national who also owns Nagarao Island resort in Guimaras and a pensione house above this restobar.
A small hallway leading inside the restaurant.
The bar with authentic German beer and more
Aside from these German beers, they also serves local beers and softdrinks
Their menu (Googling translates it simply as Food and Drinks)
A typical combo meal with meat and side dishes (I LOVE their sauerkraut-that thing in the middle)
They also serve non-German dishes just like this seafood paella
And ofcourse genuine German beer!
A trip to Bavaria restobar is more than gastronomy, it's also appreciation for another culture and everything in it!
