Years ago, I brought these butterscotch as last minute pasalubong when I "ran out" of the Biscocho Haus brand. I was literally scolded by my friend since he didn't quite like it. And I agreed that time after tasting it. From that time on, I referred to this as a not so good butterscotch. So I had second thoughts about buying this one because of that and also its one of the more expensive brands.

..... it was better than expected. Not necessarily the best in the city but by a mile beats the other four butterscotch I bought that time. A clear winner, even my nephew agress 100%, since it was quite different with its coarser texture and much different taste. It was very nutty, in a good sense that is. The nuts were overwhelming that it really made a difference in its taste and texture.
