Watching food features on TV especially when you're hungry makes you crave on whatever you see, naturally. Good thing it was just a simple french toast that time for me so making one was just easy and didn't require much skill (and money.)
Actually this is my 2nd attempt after that show on TV. The first one was really experimental for I used powedered milk and Coffeemate (dissolved in water) in lieu of liquid milk. And I used the oven toaster that time so it wasn't much a sight to behold, almost like Plaster of Paris!
For this one, I just used Alaska Evaporada, sugar and egg as "dip" for my Angelina loaf bread. Even my (almost) 5 year old nephew had fun creating the mixture and in dipping the bread slices. This time I got the "look" right by using a non-stick frying pan.
So there goes my diet, spoiled again ... bon apetit!
