I really wanted to try Bourbon Street's pizzas ever since someone said that they're one of the best in Iloilo City. Though taste really depends on the person it kept me excited from then on. So I didn't let the chance pass by last Saturday when I was there for an eye-ball with other bloggers.
Bourbon Street's House Special pizza
Unlike most pizzas in the city, this came in a very thin crispy crust that puts other chains claim for "thin crust pizzas" to shame, though this is "gourmet" compared to commercial pizza chains. Being the "house special", it almost had everything as toppings compared with the other pizzas they had. A good order indeed especially when you are taste testing those with a variety of choices . A fully "loaded" pizza with a thin and crisp crust - what more can you ask for?
Completing our "Italian" order, we had this light and "healthy" pasta having grilled chicken and pesto sauce. It was good but nothing spectacular, we might have had been mesmerized by our other orders that this pasta wasn't given much attention. Yet all was left were just traces of the pesto on the plate.
