If Perri Todd's has the biggest hamburgers in town, Roberto's, on the other hand, has the biggest sio pao in the city.

Popularly known as the "Queen" sio pao, its size and filling really connotes that of a royalty. Good for 2 people, it is sold for PhP55.

Big as a saucer, (mind you it’s heavy too), it has chicken-pork adobo, bacon, Chinese sausage and hardboiled egg as filling.

On top of all these, it has a unique factor of being available for only three (3) days per month. So you'd better call Roberto's before marching off to the restaurant or you might be in for a queen-size disappointment. If it’s any consolation, their King sio pao is always readily available.

The gabi (taro) is just one of those plants which is edible from "roots to tops". It's not makopa. It's tambis

People unfamiliar with these would often mistakenly refer to tambis as makopa - for its shape and color are almost identical. That's until you you see it up close and bite into its flesh.
