Staying home today, I decided to go healthy to balance what I consumed the day before. For starters I had oatmeal and banana for breakfast since we had another sipi of lakatan that seems so inviting.
For lunch, I had steamed okra and shrimps. Just added calamansi to these two and it was heaven in a bowl. Actually, i just used the microwave oven for these okra while the shrimps were already cooked.
But still I could not resist those lakatan so I made a simple banana-peach fruit bowl, seeing canned peaches in the fridge.
Later in the afternoon, a cousin dropped buy some goodies from his recent trip to Antique. Packs of bandi and an unnamed/unfamiliar kamote based snack I nicknamed kamotecue-chips. I only had a few bites of the chips which I find delicious.
Rounding off my healthy eating today, I again had oatmeal and bananas for dinner. And this blog is killing me with craving (and hunger)!
