After that filling lunch at Floyd's, I met with Eric (www.byahilo.com) and Marc (www.exploreiloilo.com) for dessert at Dulgies Cafe an hour after. As I have tried almost all in their display it was again back to my usual order, lemoncello. With their order consisting blueberry cheesecake, pecan caramel cheesecake and shrimp BLT sandwich it was another blogger's delight to have this spread.
Dulgies interior lighting is subdued that the more natural light outside was very much inviting for Eric that he brought the blueberry cheesecake outside. Marc and me remained inside taking more pics and talking about almost anything. A gasp from Marc looking outside made me look that way in time to see a taong grasa grabbed Eric's cheesecake and ran away. People inside and outside of Dulgies were taken aback with that "blitzkrieg" but not Eric who just went back in, ordered another cheesecake and dismissed it as his "feeding program".
As usual, our lot tasted the way it was, great! It was my first time to see another sandwich up close, for it is always D Club sandwich for me. Even it tasted great I cant seem to let it pass that their cheesecake was presented in an "messy" manner unlike the lemoncello that for the first time it has lemon slice and greens.
No matter what, Dulgies will always be a favorite hang out because of its ambiance and the great food.
