My first blog entry on Floyds Famous Barbecue wasn’t on the positive note but this one surely is. After two visits I only had one photo to show but this entry will make up for it.
It was late lunch so I had a big order, a chicken barbecue meal (PhP55), a one-piece pork barbecue meal (PhP29, PhP50 for 2 pieces) and the cheapest glass of iced tea (PhP12) anywhere given the setting of the restaurant.
It was a rather long wait since I was not with my VIP friend, whom our order arrived instantly; this one took the usual 15-20 minutes even around 2pm on a Sunday.
But the pork barbecue alone was worth the wait, it was actually really good compared with the one I had months ago. Their chicken barbecue just was okay but also way better than my previous visit. Now I know why there is always almost a long queue at Floyd's during meal times.
Don’t expect me to be a part of it but expect me to have a 2-piece pork barbecue next time.
