Actually, it was VERY good. I always pass by Piazza but never had the urge to visit until we had a scheduled pizza survey and Inday Hami of ILOVEILOILO highly recommended this Italian joint. Of course we were more than willing to try. Piazza is an open air pizza and pasta restaurant located adjacent to Uncle Tom's along Diversion Road. Furnitures don't do much to give an Italian ambiance but those green checkered tablecloth coupled with red table mats and accessories uninterestingly makes up for it. If one is not satifies with that, just look up and you'll see an Italian "flag" covering the whole joint.
They have a good selection for pizza and pasta. We almost ordered their half and half pizza (two flavours in one) but settled for their ultimate, Piazza Supreme for it had almost all the toppings. We just added pineapple and more anchovies topping. Pesto sauce was added to create a "lighten" the loaded pizza.
We had to wait long and wondered why since we were the only ones there. But when our order arrived, it was worth it. Great thin and freshly made (I really think so) crust plus perfectly cooked toppings...... I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves, ciao!
