I was very reluctant to eat these crablets when I first saw them years ago. The thought of piercing my throat was unimaginable! But they were so enticing that I gave in to my curiousity and it's now a favorite appetizer, pulutan or just eating them.
These are just baby crabs (i.e. crablets) dipped in seasoned batter then fried to a crisp. Goes well with sinamak (local spiced vinegar) and of course, beer. I got these lot from Tatoy's Manukan and Seafoods.
