I've heard and read about this famous and classic chicken restaurant before and I grabbed the chance to satisfy my curiosity during my weekend trip to Manila few days ago. As I looked for places where to get my lunch one time, my feet brought me to Food Choices at Glorietta particularly seeking another restaurant, World Chicken.

But I went in the other side of the food court and saw a Savory Chicken outlet and I was instantly drawn by my curiosity and tried it without having second thought. So I got this combo meal with spicy squid and pancit lomi on the side plus lemonade that totalled almost PhP200. It was a price worth my curiosity.

I really thought it was fried before seeing my plate but was surprised to see a roasted chicken leg came on a plate with rice and side dishes. It was good - the chicken skin was well spiced and cooked and the meat was juicy that needed no gravy at all. But it was nothing spectacular in the end. At least I have satisfied my curiousity and maybe I'll be back for another taste test but next time with a whole chicken, who know it might taste different at all - lol!
