Oatmeal and choc-nut ice cream

I've been bitten by the "oatmeal ice cream" bug lately. This is actually my third out of the blue (aka experiment)recipe by just "freezing" oatmeal with whatever additions I can think of. From fruits like mangoes and bananas, now it's this famous "Chocnut" bar.

Actually, it's not the original Chocnut, it's a different brand since I didn't find one at the grocery store last time. This was also inspired by a tv show I watched last Saturday wherein they featured this "Filipino chocolate" which is a combination of cacao and peanuts.

Im planning to make another batch so I can present it MUCH better than what you see now.

The gabi (taro) is just one of those plants which is edible from "roots to tops". The most popular of which is the tuber part which is used in a variety of dishes and mostly in combination with coconut milk. An Ilonggo favorite - Suman Latik

Suman Latik is one of my favorite native delicacies - plain suman/ibos topped with sweetened coconut strips or bukayo . Most of the time those sold in the markets have this two (suman and bukayo) already in one wrap and all you have to to is devour it.
